God has a purpose and plan for every person.  Part of our purpose at WBC is to help you experience God's love and discover that unique purpose and plan He has for your life.  We do this by trying to keep the Gospel central in everything we do.  In the words of the Apostle Paul, we believe that the Gospel is of "first importance" so we should constantly reflect on it and base our lives and ministries around it.  There are a lot of things people seek in church, and there is a lot of things we could do, but we have purposed to keep the Gospel the main thing.  Therefore our message is clear and simple.  We believe the hope for Wilmington and the nations is the Gospel; we believe that is the "power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes."  We want to saturate this community and the world with the "good news" by proclaiming it individually and as a church through our actions and words.  This is what we believe.
