Grown Ups Life Group
Mary Ann Simmons- Co-Teacher
Mary Ann has been a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church (WBC) for 20+ years, and a follower of Christ for 30 years. She has been teaching the Grown Ups Bible Study class for about 10 years, but has also taught children since she got saved. Mary Ann works with children on Wednesday nights in AWANA, as well as serving on various committees and helping with outreach events at WBC. She also leads a Grief group.
Mary Ann is married to Scott, who serves in many ministries at WBC. They have one teenage son, Sawyer, who is active in the Youth group and music ministry of the church. Mary Ann currently teaches at James Sprunt Community College. She loves Jesus, her family, church and watching movies. Mary Ann feels teaching Bible Study is rewarding because she loves to see people grow in their knowledge of the scripture. She also enjoys the strong bonds of friendship in her Life Group class.
Bio-Bill White - Co-Teacher
Bill White has been a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church (WBC) for 10 years, and a follower of Christ for 51 years. He has been teaching Bible Study classes at WBC for 7 years. He also serves as a Deacon and in many other capacities at church.
Bill and his wife Glenda sing in the choir and with the Worship Team. They have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. Bill is a retired teacher and coach. He also volunteers for an animal rescue, and enjoys hunting, fishing and raising chickens. Bill feels that teaching is rewarding because his relationship with Christ grows through study and preparation. He also enjoys seeing group members grow in the Lord and in relationship with one another.
