Gifted on Purpose

Pastor Eddie Eaton teaches from 1 Corinthians 12:1–11 that every believer is intentionally gifted by the Holy Spirit for the common good and the glory of God. Spiritual gifts are not trophies, measures of status, or tools for self-promotion; they are Spirit-empowered ways of serving others and building up the body of Christ.

The message follows Paul’s teaching on the source and test of spiritual gifts, the God-designed diversity of gifts within the unity of the Trinity, the purpose of every gift, the variety of gifts named in the passage, and the Spirit’s sovereign distribution of them.
