Sunday morning Youth Life Groups (Middle and High School)
Pastor Stuart Lewis- Lead Teacher
Pastor Stuart has been on the staff of Wrightsboro Baptist Church (WBC) for 9 years. He has been a follower of Christ for 50 years, and has been teaching Bible Study classes/groups for 34 years. He leads the middle school and high school students’ Life Groups. Pastor Stuart currently serves as Associate Pastor of Student and Family Ministry at WBC. He also serves in many other capacities, such as handyman, technical assistant, security advisor. In addition, Pastor Stuart serves as staff advisor to multiple committees related to the operations and ministries of the church.
Pastor Stuart is married to Alisha and they have 3 grown children and 1 granddaughter. He worked in the construction field for 30 years prior to vocational ministry. Stuart enjoys fishing, hunting and just being outdoors! Pastor Stuart feels that teaching youth Bible Study Life Groups is rewarding because he knows he is helping students understand that the Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to all humanity. The ultimate reward is seeing them accept Jesus as their Savior and watching them walk out their Christian life.
Donny Mong - Teacher
Donny has been a member of Wrightsboro Baptist Church (WBC) for 13 years, and a follower of Christ for 34 years. He has been teaching Bible Study classes on Sunday mornings for 7 years. Donny is also a Youth Group leader on Wednesday nights. He serves in other capacities at WBC, such as the Finance Committee and Safety Team.
Donny is married to Courtney, who serves on the Praise Team during Sunday morning Worship service. Their daughter, Abigail, serves on the Youth Praise Team. Their family is very active in many ministries at WBC. Donny works in Corporate Finance. His family enjoys working in their yard and watching something British on TV. Donny feels that teaching Youth in Sunday morning Bible Study Life Groups and leading in Wednesday night Youth Group is rewarding. He loves it when youth ask questions or respond in a way that lets him know they are listening and that God is working in their life.
Brooke Bayse - Assistant Teacher
Brooke has been a part of Wrightsboro Baptist Church (WBC ) for 20 years, and a follower of Christ for 10 years. She has been teaching Youth Bible Study groups over the past year on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Brooke also serves on the Leadership Team for the Growing in Grace Women’s ministry at WBC.
Brooke has a dog, loves to read, and likes to play games (video games and cards). She works at UNCW in the IT department. Brooke feels that teaching or leading Youth Bible Study Life Groups is rewarding because she sees youth learning how much God loves them in the current hard times they are experiencing as teenagers. She hopes they will hold on to that truth as they graduate and move on to the next chapter of their lives.
