Let It Go

Pastor Eddie revisits Joseph’s rise in Egypt, showing that the story is not a materialistic promise that faithfulness produces worldly success but a record of God’s covenant providence. The names Manasseh and Ephraim reveal Joseph releasing the control of past pain, retaining his identity among God’s covenant people, and remaining fruitful in the land of affliction; Genesis 45 then shows that God sent Joseph ahead to preserve Judah’s line and ultimately the promised seed, Jesus Christ.
