Every Believer Is a Missionary
Pastor Eddie Eaton teaches from 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 that every Christian is a missionary. In Christ, believers are made new, entrusted with the ministry and message of reconciliation, and sent as ambassadors who plead with others to be reconciled to God. The lesson calls ordinary believers to begin where God has placed them—praying intentionally, building genuine relationships, living distinctly, sharing the gospel clearly, and inviting others into Christian community.
Key Points
• Every believer in Christ is a new creation.
• God gives every believer the ministry and message of reconciliation.
• Christians live as ambassadors for Christ wherever God has placed them.
• The gospel centers on the great exchange of 2 Corinthians 5:21.
• Missional living includes prayer, relationships, distinct character, clear gospel witness, and invitation.
